Im looking to buy a camaro 6-speed either a 98 or 99. I dont really like the 97's because of the headlights. Is their any problems with the 98's since it was the first year for this new body style etc.???? PLEASE LET ME KNOW.....Thanks

Not any problems due to the new body styling, head light covers get a bit foggy apparantly. The LS1's from 98 until 2001 have issues using oil because the ring design didn't seal well enough, other than that, nothing particular that I've heard of.

The 01' and 02' have the better designed LS6 intake. I don't think there were any major changes between the 98' and 99'. The headlight covers are an easy fix, so don't worry about that.
