Arrow 97 T56 Transmission Dripping ?

1997 Z28 V8

I have noticed several drops of transmission fluid in the ground under the camaro.

It seems to be a tad wet near the rear on the trans ? I am assuming its a seal of some sort that needs to be replaced, ideas, suggestions ?

Thanks,
Pete

Yeah, look under the car and see if it looks like fluid is getting slung around the trans tunnel in line of where the tail shaft seal is. If so, replace it.
With any kind of leak, you should be able to see a trail. If uncertain, clean the suspect area first, then check it again later after driving the car.

Your tailshaft seal doesn't look like it's leaking. You have a little bit of a slinger on the tunnel, but that's normal. As ooey as everything else is, I'd wipe everything off real well as I mentioned earlier, then see where the fresh fluid runs from. Leaks can be tricky, and fluid can run anywhere. Where you see stuff collecting doesn't always mean that's the place it's coming from.
