Thanks! looking forward to your pix. Been dreading potential distributor issues... glad you have a solution. Will take a look at your handy work, will probably do what you did. hehe
What specific intake did you use? and carb...
thanks again!

Thanks!!!
Quick question: Do the v6 models share all chassis components with the V8s? Is the transmission mount the same? Reason I ask is because I do not have clearance issues with my hood. I remember reading a carb swap is going to have a clearance issue. Maybe my engine was mounted lower? Radiator hose... yeesh... superb routing.
Is the cross member mounted correctly?
Looks like a spacer sandwiched in there...

as far as i know they are not the same ,or if they do it would be weak, when compared to the v8 engine,,it probley is modified ,my car everything we kept doing was called another mod another mod from the trans to under the hood, the guy that did wiring was good threw away a ton of wireing from mine ,only thing with mine was the z28 car ,all the mods were under the hood ,mine has the same rear end stock from the v8 though,an a th350 also i haven with shift kit needed a 6 inch exstention,

A part of the exhaust system kept scraping this speed bump in our village no matter how slow I went... fitting these solved the scraping issue. Raised the car about 1/2 an inch

Your car is the first car I have seen with a stock intake and 2 barrel carb from back in the 70's. Can't really compare your car to any I have ever seen. 4 barrel carbs are much bigger. If that is a Vortec 350 out of a truck that little carb is really holding it back. GM did put that carb on 350 but that was the 150 HP 350 made in the 70's.

It doesn't have the vortec heads unfortunately. Its a UKT suffix engine off of a 93 truck or van. Heads were designed for economy afaik. Original owner probably settled for the 2 bbl because of clearance issues. Im on the hunt for a 4bbl. May have to cut a little bit off sheet metal.
