hi everyone
looking to change my stock springs to new eibach 1.3" lower than stock. would the stock shocks work or will i have problems

 

how much are those eibach's? ie. sportline, pro-kit or what.

 

also how is the current ride the springs mainly help with slower more gradual adjustments in the road little bumps and such and the shocks are what give you a smoother ride all in all. i doubt any problems will occur with the stock shocks but i would probably consider replacing those at the same time to save some money in labor cost's or your own time if you are doin it.

look into QA1 shocks they are a bit pricey about 180 a pair but that i believe is one of the brands that Lingenfelter uses on the Corvette and Camaro's they build... i think bilstein's are the others but the QA1's are adjustable. another brand i've seen on some people's camaro's are KYB AGX also adjustable. http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...gory_Code=C297

 

koni adjustables are the best but very spendy. strano has some 1.25 lowering springs that are pretty good. have a look at the site and give him a call. nice guy and good info.

no and yes but u can run it for and be ok if the tires and rims are stock.

 

Thanks craby I have the factory wheels and tires not planning to change wheels and tires my 96 is a ss and I like the that style thanks again for your help

 

u bet. if it looks funny or trys so rub all u need is a adjustable panhard bar. they dont cost to much and are really easy to install.

 

I had already replaced the lower control arms and pan hard bar to tubed type but the panhard bar is nonadjusable I hope I don't have to change it.
