I just bought my first camaro and I am attempting to fix it up the right way. I will have many questions I'm sure and have found the answer to alot of them already by using this forum Thanks!

The issue is the wiper motor (which is in the most ridiculous spot and hard to get to) is clanking around when I turn them on some times I also have to pull up on the wiper just a bit to get them started. I see one bolt which is tightened down but the side that points to the rear of the car is just wollering around in a square hole. Is there a grommet that goes in there any help is appreciated before I pull out all my hair lol.

 

sounds like something is not right. check to see how much pressure it takes to move wipers with motor unhooked. could be one of the wiper bushings is bad or the linkage is unhappy and binding up.
