You can do that, but depending on the color of your car, getting a good color match would be nearly impossible if they only have the nose. White is easy to match color. Darker colors are harder to match.

Well my car is code 10 Arctic White. Nothing special. That's why I figure it would be pretty easy to do if I just bring it in and how them my car.

Your car is the same color as mine. White is very easy to color match. I would take your car in also, just so that they can get an exact match.

Two different batches of arctic white can (an usually are) slightly different (ask me how I know). It may not be noticable to most, but when light hits it just right, you notice that something is just a little "off".

Remember, your car is 17 years old, and it is sun faded, although white doesn't show sun fading nearly as bad as darker colors.
