I'm having problems with starting my car. When it first happened I turned the key on and tried to start my car. The car turned over really slow and then I noticed white smoke coming from under the hood. I quickly opened the hood but I didn't see where the smoke was coming from. I did notice that it smelled like an electrical fire. So being the genius I am I decided to get in my car and try to start it again to find the source of the smoke. Well I'll be damned that son of an itch started no problem. So I drove it for the next couple of weeks and had no problems. Then one day it happened again. Except this time it started smoking and I waited a little and tried to turn it over again. Nothing. There was some rapid clicking sound but it was coming out of my dash on the far right passenger side. I had it towed to my house and did some research. I tested the battery and it's all good. I tried to do that whole thing with a screwdriver and the starter solenoid and nothing. But now it's stopped clicking under the dash. I turn the key and nothing. Not a single sound. Please help. I love my car and I want her to live again.

sounds like a bad wire or connection someplace. first off clean the battery posts and cable ends. can get a coating on them that can prevent a good connection and cause heat to grow. maybe smoke a bit when put under stress. as you are doing this look at the cables, follow as far as you can looking for melting, bare wires, damage or things not looking right. you may have burned out a inline fuse so be a good idea to get the volt meter out and see if you can track where power stops.
