My ses light is on at idle or whenever I'm not on throttle like coasting to a stop, I can't read the codes the paper clip trick does nothing and my adapter won't turn my scanner on.
It runs fine doesn't seem to miss or anything, there is no apparent vacuum leak, misfire, or hesitation at any rpm.
I replaced both o2 sensors, spark plugs, and went over the vacuum lines pretty good, what else could it be?

 

i would say it has something to do with the trottle position. best to have it scanned for trouble codes. i dont think a code reader will work on the 93 v6, need a obd1 scanner.
