Question 93 Engine Id plate

Hey guys, I am just curious seeing that you all are saying i have great oil pressure for an engine that has 200k miles on it..it leads me to believe that it isnt the original block..anyone know where the id plate is located so I can check.

I used a site that decoded VIN# and this is what i came up with. not sure if I did correct tho.

Why would you think good oil pressure means a rebuilt/new engine? I got good oil pressure at 190k and my engine all original.....

This my first camaro ive ever owned and when i posted video of the oil pressure many said that it was very good for 200 k. So me not knowing much about it thought that it could be a different engine. Plus i just want to know as much as possible about this car.

Because 60 psi at idle with 200k is abnormal. Not saying it can't happen or that's it's bad (because that's really good), because it can, but it's not common, even for very well taken care of engines.

As far as determining whether it's the original engine or not.....I do not believe the fourth gens have ID numbers to determine if the engine is original to the car like the older ones did.
