93 camaro 3.4L starting troubles!!!! Deseperate Need of Help!!!

Default 93 camaro 3.4L starting troubles!!!! Deseperate Need of Help!!!

Ok, here recently bout 2 and a half months ago...I had to change head gasket and stuff...well I put everything back together and what not...but now every time I try to start it...all it does is crank and crank and crank...I put new coolant temp sensor in it...but my power steering pump is out cause didn't want it...but as when im cranking..it barely runs for like 2 seconds n gone...and blue smoke comes out and smells of gas horribly...any ideas...Need Help Badly!!!!!!

Retrace your steps. You either didn't put something together right, or didn't plug something back in.
Also, are you sure you got your valve lash set correctly? Too tight or too loose and the engine won't run.

hmm i may recheck my valve lash cause i prolly do have a rocker arm too tight...but whats the proper way to do it?

it was my valve lash cause i readjusted my valves n fired right up...hopefully stays that way

best to set lifters the last time while its running. i can never get them completely correct with engine not running.

yeah it took me forever to do mine cause like 4 or 5 of my push rods were wayyy wayy too tight nrest were too loose

but then now heres another problem...it started fine but when i put it in gear it tried stalling out n dying

Did you check your IAC? Tends to be an issue sometimes when they get carbon build up. I've had that issue before on my mercury where id put it in gear and it'd just stall unless i gassed it.

i just looked into my vaccum lines n i see yellow iside but yet just changed the gaskets awhile back..any soultions?
