Default 3800 series 2 egr valve

Can you use the egr valve off a Fwd 3800 series 2 on a camaro or firebird Rwd 3800 series 2?

The only differences I see is the metal shield on the rwd and the wire connector are in different spots.

So long as the mountings are the same it should work just fine. They both use the same digital valve configuration. This EGR valve was used on all GM products but the mounts changed from one engine to another. The clocking of the plug should not change the performance but it may make plugging it in difficult.
