You'll need a v8 k member, suspension, fuel pump, wiring, a transmission that'll bolt to the engine, a drive shaft that will need to be fitted. A v8 gauge cluster. And all v8 relays and under dash wiring. It'll cost you more to do the swap then to sell you v6 and buy a z28.

Ya but he said he's going to make it a fuel injected. You can make a carbed 350 fit just alot of mods around the cowl or custom mounts to make the carb sit 4 inches lower then make a custom air intake system.

THe question gets ask all the time. There is a sticky in the V6 section. I think the last time someone asked was last week.

If you think that was a smart @$$ comment you would have loved to hear what popped in my head.
The short answer to this is the engine will fit... With mods to the cowl and hood (carbed) and only the cowl if you buy a low profile FI manifold. Do you know where the HEI dizzy will end up if you use a standard SBC? Good luck changing the cap and rotor... can you say drop the engine to change the cap?
Guess what... The LT1 engine was developed for this car... None of the other cars that recieved the LT1 engine needed to have the dizzy in the front. GM put the LT1 in the Corvette because if was capable of developing more HP than the Vortec used before, and the Impala/Caprice/Roadmaster to help make up some of the development costs.
