3.8 coil pack help

Default 3.8 coil pack help

i was putting together my camaro today because i finally got the time to work on it. I just have one question. What is suppose to attach to the coil pack? there is obviously a bolt that attaches to coil pack but for the love of sweet zombie jesus i cant remember what it was. Pics included.

thanks! could not have asked for a better answer. I ask because im not getting spark to the plugs and wondered if maybe the boil pack grounded with the engine bracket

That not being there should not effect spark. You had the motor out? Did you get all the PCM hooked back up under the dash?

Only reason I had those pics was I was showing off my chrome

No motor was not out of car just did a head gasket so pretty much everything was removed.

OK in my experience with these engines there are a couple of things that kill the coils.

Coil pack is not plugged in, the connector is not tight, or there are bent pins in the connector.
Crank position sensor is not plugged in or it is bad.
Module finally gave up its ghost.

Check that stuff out and see if you can find anything.
