I am thinking of buying this 2002 z28. Now I am all about mustangsand this guy claims that the car doesn't run because the 6-speed transmission and the rearend needs rebuilding. I happen to know that my mustang can run without the transmission or rearend. Is there something that I dont know about such a new camaro? whats it worth?

Mustangs run fine with no rear end or transmission as long as they are loaded on the back of a flatbed truck. You know how many Mustang drivers are, they have problems when it comes to writing, diving, or building cars, so you need to cut them a break.LOL

Apperantly you ******* have no idea about anything. A serious question reveals a retarded bunch of answers. Yes a car will run with trans and rearend. The question is if it run? Not drive.

The car will run with a bad rear end and transmission....as far as having the motor start (that is unless the input shaft to the tranny is screwed or it is stuck in gear). As far as drive with a bad motor and transmission....fat chance, unless somthing simple like clutch wearing out and rear bearings just shot....it will drive just not very well (at all)

Let's put it this way. The engine in just about any car will run without a transmission or rear end. But you said your Mustang (the car) can run without a transmission or rear end, and that is very hard to believe.
Also, cars do not drive, but they can be driven, usually by people.
But, to answer your question. There is no reason that the engine can't run with broken rear end, the transmission may be a different story, depending on how it is broken.
