Default 2002 v6 Random Starting Issues

So, the majority (in fact, i havent seen a thread or a google issue of mine) is about cars not starting. Mine, in fact, starts well. Too well! In two separate cases, my camaro has started up without my key in it. With me sitting in the drivers seat AND with the hood open. (edit: I was standing at the hood too) I do not have a remote starter. The only thing i have is the Viper system. (car is stock as hell)
2002 V6 3800 Automatic

Issue 1: Began at the beginning of summer. Car would, after key was removed and engine off, start blinking as if I pressed a button on the VATS system. Dashboard lights, and the sound, would double blink/sound, then the engine would turn on. No abnormal revving of the engine, just turn on. Then it would turn off, turn back on, then back off again. I went to replace the battery, and the same issue cropped up at the place, scaring the poor guy the death. Then it stopped.

Issue 2: Two days ago, I'm getting home from work, i replace my T-tops, and it starts my car back up again. Without my key in the ignition. No extra RPM, just idle. I place my key back in, and turn it to on, then off. It stays on. Do it again, and it finally turns off. I stare at my car for 10 minutes, then head back inside.

No extra warning lights or anything displayed, and its something that doesn't seem to be replicating with any sort of regularity. I can try and provide further details, but the only warning i usually have when this issue is about to happen is when the dashboard lights up like when the VATS lock/unlock button is pushed.

Does anyone have any idea? I'll take suppositions at this point!
