2000 Z28 Transmission

I just purchased a 2000 Z28 with the automatic four speed transmission. I was told it had the 460L, is this correct?

I think its 4L60 if im not mistaken but i could be wrong. But it is a 4 speed and i love mine.

I believe it is 4L60E actually there is a thread in the LT1 section about it it is a sticky.

It is the 4L60E, it's the electronicly controlled version of the 4L60, which is a renamed version of the 700R4.
