I just purchased a 2000 z28 camaro with the 6 speed manual. I have about $300 to spend, preferably less, but i was wondering what the best perf. chip i can get is. Thanks for the help, If i could keep the better gas mileage that'd be even better!

 

There is no chip for these cars. Best thing you can do is get a tune. If you plan on doing other mods like headers, Cai, cam or anything like that then first do those and then a tune.

 

For under 300 you could get an SLP cold air induction kit.

 

Either start with a $100 lid and save the other $200 for a catback or headers, or put it all towards a catback or headers.
