Default 2000 SS gas milage

Hey Guys and Gals, I have now had my 200 SS convertible for long enough to have to fill up the tank and do a milage test. Alas I found that im only getting about 15 MPG. The car was owned by a collector and so it only has 22K miles and seems to run perfect, While this is mostly around town driving, i have not driven on the highway yet, but its not as much stop and go as you would think, and while I have done some spirited driving I also get it to a hight gear once I reach the speed limit. What im wondering is if because the cars was driven so little over the last 12 years if something could be hurting the milage, but not making the car run poorly. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!

Wooz

I get 17 city in my M6 ls1, so you are right on par. Verts weigh more and your city mileage might be decreased slightly from this, and if you are an auto you will lose anohter couple mpg
