Can someone tell me what I just broke and maybe a replacement part #? The plastic was very dry and just snapped off. The pictures are from the passenger side towards the back of the engine.

looks vacuum related, best thing is get a T connection from a parts store

 

get it replaced it links to the rear of the intake manifold and the other goes to your heater matriax to provide the vacuum to open and close the vents when you choose different settings (windsheel, feel, face etc etc)
