I am doing a front brake upgrade on my 96. I got the parts off a 2000. When I started to tear apart the Calipers to powder coat and rebuild them I found that two of the four sliders in the caliper brackets where frozen. Both where rusted bad and they broke. Of course one in each bracket. Does anyone know where I can find these brakets? I can find the ones for the rear online. Tomorrow I will try to machine out the sliders but I am not to hopful. Machinig fused steel out of aluminimum does not always go real well.

I am thinking I need to find other ones. Look how nice and shine the outside rim of the hole is on the other side of the brakets. There is a dust seal that goes around that. I have been soaking the bracket for 2 days and it still looks like a pitted mess on the outside. Hopfully I can find a good one at the local U-pull it yard. I have had no luck finding them new.
