Okay thanks guys for the help.Would a 1998 camaro 5-speed be a good first car to learn driving a manual transmission with? I know the general technique so actually driving it would be fine but practicing. Would it be a good choice?

Broken hatch glass
I had the hatch glass break in my car, I spent 400.00 to have it done, they did a good job, but somehow shattered glass got into the inner frame. It drove me nuts. I finally found a complete hatch, thankfully for 75.00 in craigslist. I installed it, and have have n troubles since. Because I have had this happen, I would replace the whole hatch, or deal with rattles. Just my opinion. Goodluck, hope you get what you want out of this. These are fun cars.

i paid 115 dollars to have mine replaced professionally, they came to the house and had it done in about two hours, even wiped down the glass and disposed of the smashed one. Got the glass out of a junk yard, took the whole hatch out, which took 15 minutes and a buddy, at a cost of 250 dollars, and a case of beer. Not too bad i would say.
