Question 1997 ss 30th anniversary eddition???? im confused what my car is?

i bought a 1997 camaro the guy i bought it from said it was an ss 30th ann edd ......its def a v8 with ram air it has the ss badges, hood and rims all ss ......but it also looks moded and i thought anniversary eddition came only in manual with white exterior with orange racing stripes plz help im 17 my first camaro i want to know for sure.

30th Anniversary Camaro may be identified by RPO code Z4C on the trim tag.
These are the only 30th Anniversary Camaros made in 1997
SS cars will all have RPO code R7T

And yes it should have orange stripes, but the car could have been painted.

looks like it may be just an ss and your seller just figured because it was a 97 it was a 30th ann edd. some poeple dont know theres actually a difference.

The 30th anaversary cars are special. They were Arctic White with Hugger Orange stripes, SS ONLY and had special interior. Check the images below these are from my cousin's car and it is a true 30th car.
