Ups, Sorry I didn't see, the wiring diagram in the 1997 shows direct connection between EBCM and the hydraulic modulator assembly. in the 2000 the EBCM there is no connection, just 2 wires going to Brake pressure modulator valve.

So I don't Know if it is possible to splace the wires, I think every thing is possible

This is crazy I sold my Ls1/6 speed combo setup because I didn't want to replace the interior harness and today I did that with a 3.8L. I went ahead and took the dash out and completly striped the car naked because I know splicing would really give me a hard time. I'm replacing the complete interior harness with a 2000 harness. I'll have the 2000 harness in the car tomorrow. I have pics but left camera in the garage and didnt feel like going in there and looking at that car.

i think ull be happy with it when your done. be sure to inspect the wires and plugins for anything that doesnt look right. worn spots, coroded wires or plugins stuff like that. now is the time to clean and seal the plugins/connections. pick up electronic cleaner and some non conductive sealant for your connectors. i cant remember the name of it and mine is on the boat at the docks, left it on the boat when i was workin on the wiring. anyways ill get the name for u tomorrow if u want. i dont kown about u but i dont really like doing wiring.

Yes ill be happy when is done, I got the 2000 wire harness installed and put the dash back on. I have to get a key programed for the new computer. The airbags connects are different between the two years. I made a harness so I wouldnt have to damage my airbags. I have to wire or replace the fuel pump because those connection are different between the years also.

looks like I'm going to have to change the rear end and the fuel pump. I have them so hopefully I can get it done this weekend, i also have to get thr resistors to start the car, my friend at the alarm shop gave me all 15 resistors to test. Thank God for friends because the locksmith wanted $150.00.
