Well you were told wrong. Think about what you are saying here (I know it hurts to think). If what you are saying were true, don't you think the parts manufactures would have been sued already? And that I would not have been able to buy long tube headers, and other parts for my car? Honestly man, this is why people are hard on you here, you just won't listen.

M*******, don't just post things to antagonize people, that's no better that what Spartan posts, and it makes you look like a...well, a (m)*******.
Spartan, all we ask is that you think about what you're posting. Use some logic, do some research. If you can find legal documents or some other evidence that proves that parts dealers are getting sued for this reason I would be more than happy to change my outlook, but until then I stick with my claims and analogies.

Spartan, M*******, stop now! Constructive debate is allowed, flaming each other because you're both butt-hurt over each other and your internet fighting isn't constructive.
Ovulator, you're banned!

Whatever JD . Dealerships and car parts stores arent supposed to sell illegal parts and you know it....

just because they arent 50 state legal doesnt mean they are illegal = no lawsuit = you get laughed at by judge
"off road use only" can be sold in any state. they are just not legal for emissions. In california you can put anything you want on your car, however if you use an "illegal" part then technically you are supposed to trailer your car to the track, which is the designated "off road" which "off road only" references. technically, my car should be trailered to and from the track only, and i shouldnt drive it on the street. they just dont care as much here in iowa.
