Default 1995 Camaro V6 3.4L Auto? Worth it?

Im looking at a pretty clean 1995 Camaro 3.4L V6 w/ 122K miles on it. Has all power, automatic, t-tops, rk sport ground effects and wing. 18" chrome wheels in nice shape. Interior is clean..small crack on dash but has dash over on so not noticeable. Stored winters..no rust. Nothing mechanically wrong that the seller knows of. Will this engine last me for awhile or is it going to be a headache. Is $3,500 a fair deal?

nice looker like that blue. if you want one with v8 get one with v8. from what ive read on the forum its a pain in the backside to change from 6 to 8 and the cost is prohibitive. have to change a s---load of stuff. if its cherry like you say its worth the 35hun. should go to 200k miles if it hasnt been abused.

Umm... NOt worth 3.5 grand... It will last you to about 200 grand I'm guessing... I paid $2200 for a 99 with a 3.8 with 105k on the clock. That's a steal, but I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find a better deal.

it looks nice but if its stock its only got like 160hp. i just bought a 98 z28 with a six speed for $3600. its got more miles on it but it runs strong and i wont have any second thoughts about putting money into it. when buying a camaro my suggestion is get what you want the first time and dont settle... you'll end up regreting it in the long run. (you should look for a manual too, they're much more fun)

I agree with what they said.. with that said, I settled. But mine was actually in EXCELLENT condition at ~90k miles. I don't think I could have bought a better running camaro but everyday I find myself wanting that classic Z28 power.. That car looks very clean so if your looking for a car that looks fast than you've got it. If you want a car that looks and IS fast than keep looking for an 8.

mine is a 2000 3.8... it beautiful shape (inside and out), had 84,000 miles on it for $3900. the issues I've had with it have been pretty minor and caused by the car sitting in a garage and not being driven. so I say keep lookin around...
