1994 z-28 header install

a friend of mine heard that you had to pull the motor just to install headers. he has a 1994 z-28 LT-1. let me know if you have any information about this. thanks alot.

no thats not true at all, its commonly done with the engine still in the car

You usually have to undo the motor mounts and jack the engine up a couple in inches, but you don't have to pull it out of the car.
