I am removing the clutch master cylinder. The u-bolt that holds the master cylinder is hitting the brake booster and will not come out of the holes.. Is there any tricks so I do not have to remove the brake booster? There is no mention about removing the brake booster in the GM manual?
Edit:
Item number 25 Will not pull out of the fire wall because it hits the back of the brake booster.

I loosened the brake booster about a 1/4" to get it out and it was still a battle. I gave up for the day after I spent an hour trying to install the new MC. I'll try again tomorrow. Man I am glad I am not a flat rate mechanic anymore, jobs like this would kill me. After doing the computer wiring harness and this I think I am going with a 5th gen with a warranty as my driver and stick with pre-80's cars for fun.
