"over-camming" is something that happens when you meet or exceed head limits. so if the heads flow a given cfm at a given rpm, they will make the appropriate power. stock heads usually start to run out of steam around 400rwhp regardless of what cam is put in there, they can go a little higher, but it gets tougher. the downside is you dont make as much high range power as you could but you are still sacrificing all your low end torque. this is why overcamming is a problem.
wed have to know what cam is in there. 400rwhp is a good mark for a larger cam. 340-350rwhp is about right for bolton only. depending on the size of his cam id say hes somewhere in between lol
