I am thinking of buying on 01 SS that I have found. It does not have the SLP airbox on it though. I have attached a picture of the airbox on the car. I thought all SS models came with the SLP airbox. It makes me wonder if this is really an SS.

The SLP lid was an option. My SS did not have one either. If your in doubt, call SLP and give them your VIN#, they can tell you the build #, options etc.

 

I don't believe it was an option, but after-market -- order it from SLP, but get the Flow-Pac, if you want even more...
