Default What size injectors, do you think?

Ok. So I'm FINALLY!! building my 350 in a couple of months for my 91z that has the 305 tpi set up. I was curious as to what size injectors you would recommend? It will be a 350 bored .030 over, a 280H comp cam, 1.5 ratio rockers (might upgrade to 1.6 later), Pro comp 2 aluminum heads with 2.02 valves, a weind stealth ram intake with new holley high flow fuel rails, a twin 58mm throttle body, and of course headers I was thinking maybe 26 PPH? but I'm no expert... I know 22 PPH is stock for the 350, but it won't be a stock horse motor Ideas?

24/26 # injectors would work, but you will need a NEW Prom (chip) for the ECM. You will need to burn your own or get a custom one made. Either way it is gone to cost you do get the engine running right.

well I was planning on getting a new chip burned from the same guy that gave me one for my 305. I wouldn't have any problems with that size cam would I? I know it wont make as much vacuum at idle and the computer runs off the MAP sensor. would the chip be able to compensate? Or were you trying to say that I need to get a PROM from a 350 car? The only problem I see with that is my car is a standard, and they didn't make 350's with the T5 :/ But maybe the auto version PROM would work anyways? All it does it tell the tranny to get out of second if I'm not mistaken on a 700r4. there is a guy on ebay that custom programs chips for these cars on ebay, and I found one that he will burn for a 350 with mild to moderate modifications and up to 26# injectors. this is the post.

I did not have a problem with my cam and it only gave me 14 # vacuum. If less you may need pump for the brakes. I really don't know if the chip can correct low vacuum.

Engine was built in 2002 and it is a Crane 110 deg 450 lift 216 @50. A lot of low end torque.

depending on what fuel pressure, i would consider 28 or 30# injectors. have you talked with a good tuner yet, that would be a good start. i think i have some 28# ers here somewhere if you want for cheap. ill have to look for em though to make sure there still here.

well I was planning on running between 45-50 psi fuel pressure. The new fuel rails I plan on getting come with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and I was going to put in fuel pressure gauge so I can monitor it while in the cab. and I'm in Wichita Falls Tx, the only thing people around here are interested in is new stuff... LS1's and Turbo powered 4 bangers :/ So I don't know any tuners at all

And Z the cam I have picked out is just a little bit bigger than yours... 230 @50 and 480 lift. not sure about the degrees. the intake I want to get has shorter runners so I was already going to lose a little bottom end but gain quite a bit of top end, and the cam would just add to the top end, while also taking away from my bottom end. This doesn't hurt my feelings at all because I am worried about grenading my tranny/rear end combo already lol

stock 305 are 19lb, stock 350 are 22. im running 36lb injectors in my car, which is in the median of the range that accel recomends and that my math equations came out to for calculating injector size. but any time you change injector size, you will need a custom chip made. i am going with pcmforeless.com to have my chip made
