Ive got a 89 camaro with a 76 corvette engine l82 350 i think??? We matched them up and they look the same but im not sure but the engine bolts up just right to the 89 trans we bought it from people that bought it from people that were gonna make it into a drag car?? any help would greatly be appricated. Here's a picture of the engine

Look at the back of the block by the oil sending unit to see the GM stamping. Never believe what people tell you. I couldn't see your pics, but that stamping will tell more than any of us could by looking at a picture.
