Ok so I am familiar with the whole subframe connectors on a mustang and I also have quite a few camaro owning friends and realize that basically the same thing needs to be done in order to keep them from twisting as well. With that in mind what is the best combo to run in a 3rd gen? Keep in mind I want to run either a 5 or 6 spd man. tranny.
Also do these cars use a cable clutch or a hyd.?

are you asking wheter you should run 5 or 6spd with subframe connectors???? idk, go 6spd, hydro clutch with a wilwood adjustable slave cylinder

 

i dont think you will get a t56 mounted to that motor easily....

 

There are kits for it. There is not much money can not fix.

 

i figured. I would just go with the 5speed though for ease. unless he thinks he will be breaking it

 

What I am asking is this.................. For a 3rd gen camaro what is the best engine with the most hp that I can run for a 16 yr old and run either a 5spd or a 6 spd? ie 305, 350, 327, 383, sb427, bb what are my options. I am familiar with the mustang engine bay but not the camaro. Like I know that I can put a bb460into a stang and it be streetable but what about the camaros?

 

DO NOT PUT A BB, you can beef up a sb and weigh about 400lbs less, do not, do not get a bb

 

and you are answereing your own question, just put a big *** engine with alot of hp in front of a 5spd. I.E. 383 TPI, and a T5
