whats the best intake, cam,carb , and head combo that you guys have had the best luck with producing the most horsepower.

 

not sure about the whole setup or what your looking to spend...

but i know vortec heads are very good heads, and for the price you cant beat em. But Dart heads are amazeing, but you pay for them.

If your wanting a street car, Edelbrock carbs are the way to go, but if your plannin on bringing it to the track more often than just driving it, then Holly. Ive found that the Holly carbs are GREAT track carbs, but dont really like just regular driving. Which is where edelbrock comes in, they are a good compramise between the two in my opinion.

Intake... thats up in the air, just make sure that if you need to pass emissions, youll probably need a spot on it for the EGR.

and cams, that all depends on what heads you get and how lopey of an idel you want. With the vortec heads i believe you can get up to a 525 lift, but dont quote me on it.
