I have a 350 TPI that was swapped in. It had a 305 and was replaced with the 350 by the previous owner. Had a malfunction in the computer last year and replaced it. I dont know if the place put a 305 tpi or 350 tpi computer in it. anyways, I put 373 gears in it and its shifts at 4k and it never shifted right to begin with (Does have a shift kit). Is there any chips or flashes I can do to the computer to make the car run good and shift better?

 

The ECM is the same for a 305 TPI/350TPI the only difference is the Prom (chip) that has different variable for each motor. The only way to tell what you have, is to remove the Prom and find out which one it is by the numbers on it. Some people that do this swap neglect to change the prom. Your best bet is to buy a good aftermaket one (not hypercrap) and you should be allright. Fastchip.com is a good source.
