Ok I have a 1985 z28 camaro with a 350iroc v8. Tpi~
Now Here is my question , Can I use the manual tranny and bell housing out of a v6 camaro. Will it bolt up and work properly?
Finding the correct tranny is difficult and I hate this car being auto~

 

No, it won't. Even if you find a V8 car with a manual; the manuals in 3rd-gen Camaros were not designed to be able to handle the power of the stock 350- that's why they were never offered.

And you don't have a stock 350. So you're definitely going to need something stronger.

 

^agreed, but i put a t5 behind my crate motor right now and i launched pretty hard and its still fine.
