i been lookin everywhere for a cai for a tpi camaro.. seems they only make them for the tpi firebirds.. i was thinkin bout buying a firebird one and doing some customizing. the elbow going to the throttle body should fit on a camaro right? nebody try this/got any ideas/ know where to get a camaro cai.. thanks

its a 88 with the 305 tpi

 

unless you dont have the factory intake, then there is nothing you can do. the tpi intake on the camaro is cold air. it draws it in from the area in front of the radiator. now yes it is a little flat in the middle, but it needs to clear the hood, so there isnt much you can do. however, inside the air filter housing, there are small little louvers under the filter that are designed to keep larger things out. if you remove them, it creates a straighter shot of air, but dont count on making any sort of hp improvement

i dont think it made any noticeable improvement, but i dont think it would hurt it either
