well today i was racing a firebird and when u stomped on the gas my car downshifted into 1st and the rmp went to about 6 grand and i threw a belt. Im pretty sure I dont have a rev limiter because the rpm's whouldnt be that high (i think)

Just wondering if its possible to install a rev limiter and how much they generally cost

I've a MSD 6AL box, they have a rev limiter built in they run about $230 from summit. Any body have cheaper option?

 

accel 300+ racing module about 185 with out coil i think might be more now
