Smile Rear end Replacement.

So, I have the opportunity to get my hands on a 2000 SS rear end. My question is since im new to the car scene is will this rear end just bolt up in place of where the old one was? And will it match up with my 700R4 thats in my Camaro already? I have an 89 Iroc-Z for clarification. Thanks!

Not sure whether the trailing arm mounting brackets and spring pockets are the same between them. But 3rd and 4th gens can use the same driveshaft, so that answers your match up to the trans question.
The 4th gen rearend is a little wider (hub to hub) than the 3rd is too. And 4th gen wheels have more backspacing than the 3rd gen wheels, so tire-to-fender lip clearance could be a close fit.

Well I have a set of vette rims i want to install on the car. The sizes are 19X11.5 on the rear and 18X10.5 on the front. Oh! While were on the subject would the suspension from the same vehicle be compatible with mine? Or would it be more work than i bargained for?

Not sure which vehicle or suspension part you are referring to. But in any case, the suspension on the Vette is totally different from that on your IROC, and the front suspension on the SS is also completely different. Your IROC uses McPherson type struts in front and the SS uses upper & lower control arms with coil overs.
