i just bought a 91 camaro rs 5.0 305 five speed. it runs great but it likes to slip out of second gear any ideas on whats wrong? also the inside has seen better days should i go to the junk yard or buy new to fix it up?

 

i cant think of the name of the parts, but its common for them to do that when theyve been abused and drag raced a lot. i would suggest looking around for a replacement trans, unless you want to spend a grand rebuilding that. or live with it until its unbearable and swap in a 6 speed
