Question oil pressure/ clutch&gear problems

i have a couple issues at the moment and was hoping for an expert opinion.

my 1997 has a 3.8l engine and 5 speed transmission.

ive been having an issue with my pressure Gage, it seems to meet at 1/4 the way up on start. and when I'm driving it goes up to halfway, and then back down to 1/4 when I'm coming to a stop. i don't know what the problem is? help

and also, i have a newer clutch in my car (2 years old). it shouldn't be the problem. : as i put it into reverse, it grinds before it enters. and when im driving and switch gears 1-2-3-4-5, it seems to catch before it wants to go into gear.

trying to sell my car and these issues aren't going to help me out!

opinions and solutions are much appreciated! thanks

The oil pressure variation is normal. Oil pressure follows engine speed, but yours seems to be slightly low, so try a heavier grade of oil. Being that you are having problems with all your gears, I doubt that all synchros could have gone bad at the same time. It would seem the clutch is not fully releasing, possible due to a problem with the clutch master or slave cylinders, or air in the system.
