overheating
I have a 91 Z-28 with a 350. I am having trouble with the car running hot. It has the heavy duty cooling systym in it. So far i have replaced the raditor, both fans, installed a 160 thermostat, changed both fan switches to turn onat 160 or 180, I forget. The water pump is no less then a year and a half. It seems that the first fan to come on works great until the second fan turns on. Then they both quit after a few seconds. When they die my A/C also goes out. Same thing if I turn on my A/C as soon as I get in my car, it works for a few miniutes then it starts to blow hot air and quickly overheat. I assume that the problum is with the second fan, but I don't know what eles to do. If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks Brian

RE: overheating
Sounds like a Wireing problem. The 2nd one is probaly overloading the circit breaker. Unless its fuse protected then my theory is wrong. But it sounds like a wireing proble mabey hook the fans to a direct switch and control it that way.

RE: overheating
try checking the relay on the firewallby the brake booster. it sound's like you are overloading the relay. be sure to check the right one cause there is more than one relay up in that coner. here is a picture of the coner.
