no timing

Hey. New member here. I have an 87 sport coupe 305 with computer carb and remote coil distributor.

The timing stays the same all the time all rpm. Any idea what I should look at first?

When you checked it did you unplug the connector for timing adjustments? It should be a tan wire with a round plug in the big harness around the heater box
