well i have seen the springs inside the hose go to pieces and clog things up

Could be the pump is defective and the impeller is semi free-wheeling.
Now I'm not gonna be able to sleep till we find ou.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!

i know! this problem is pissing me off lol, seems like something so simple is giving me the hardest time, pump will come off tonight

well the other day it ran great. stayed at 160 no matter how long it idled, then the next day it was climbing a bit, im goin to pull the pump when i get a chance, work has been busy lately tho

put a new rad in, pumped great and thermostat opened, then i started driving snd the thermostat stuck, it was pumping fine, then i pulled the thermostat out, now it doesnt pump wtf!

what thermostat are you using? lt1 is a different thermostat and is sorta backwards. man you got me stumped. what did the coolant look like outa the old radiator? getting any crud out of it or the motor at all?

I know I asked this before about the water pump, and you seemed sure, but did you look at the impellers to make absolutely sure you don't have the wrong rotation style pump on there? It sounds like you may have a cavitation problem.
