Default Need Advice please...

I have a Loaded White '82 Berlinetta w/59,000 miles on it with LG4/Auto.
The car is in really good condition & resides in my heated/air cond. garage.
I haven't started this for well over a year. I have changed oil/filter. I filled
filter with Rislone for start-up. I drained radiator & filled back up w/ 1/2
distilled water & 1/2 strait prestone. Poured a little gas down carb.
I kept stable in gas & added 5 gallons of fresh...

What else can I do before start- up?

Thanks for any Ideas...

check trans fluid just to make sure it has no sediment or sludge in so change fluid and filter then you should be fine. also might check rear end

I would also clean your air box and filter and then give it a brief inspection under the hood to make sure no rodents made a mess. I had a mouse get into my camaro over the winter and it really did a number on vaccume lines and wiring... I was pissed! I actually leave mouse traps in my car now when it is sitting. lol I also started using a sea foam product called Deep Kreep every year. you just spray it in the intake while the engine is running and it helps smooth idle and burn out built up carbon deposits in your motor. It seems to work well. Your car will smoke a lot when you do it but its normal.

Default I wanna do everything I can...

Thanks Guys. I will get Tranny & Filter changed. The "Deep Kreep"
sounds like a good Idea. Things have been tight w/$$$ and I haven't
started it since June '08!

It's not a Z-28 or an Iroc. It's a bone-stock original Berlinetta which
I don't see much of in the Kansas City Area. Most have been
converted to be like a Z-28...
