Hello,

I was just wondering, I got an 84 z28 camaro, and was wondering if a hood from a 91 iroc z would fit on my car? I called a dealership and they said they were not compatiable, but he anserwed prety quickly off the top of his mind without looking it up.

My car is a fix-er-upper, but I'm more than willing to put the time and money into it. I will try to post a pic of it online ASAP

 

Well they didnt make a 91 Iroc-Z. Stopped making them in 90 when dodge got the rights to the IROC race. But idk if it would fit or not.

 

If I remember correctly the latch is in a different location, not buy much, but enough for it to not fit...

 

I have an 85 Camaro Z-28 that has a 90 or 91 hood on it. The hood that I have takes 2 people to open the hood because the latch is misalighned. I am attempting to find a cowl induction hood that will fit my car. I have tried to align it and all that happens is it get hung in the closed position and it is almost impossible to open without doing damage so my advive is unless you change out the entire front clip I would stay away from it

All Camaro hoods will interchange (fit) from 1982 thru 1992, so yes it will work.

 

The 90 thru 92 camaros had small diffences in them they made changes in the front clip area so no the hoods are not interchangable in all years 82 thru 89 will fit 90 thru 92 will but will not operate correctly!!
