hey i have a 88 305 tbi when i got the car it ran fine as i been driving it more i noticed arount 3000-4000 rpm i have no power no matter how much i pressed to gas pedal it got worse as i drove more before i knew it it would do it @ 2000 rpm it sounds like its breaking up bad tried changing the fuel filter that helped for about a week then the same thing no power wont rev up past 2000 rpm bucking any ideas to wat it is before i start dumping money into parts that i dont need? also it is running lean smell of unbrunt fuel out of exhaust pipes

update did a fuel pressure test and its dropping down to 3 psi after 3 grand time for a new fuel pump

 

running lean and raw fuel coming out exhaust pipe dont go together,if you hadnt fixed it i would say plugged cat converter
