Default Which Headers for my new 350???

Hello, I just recently installed a 350 tune port engine into a 1986 Camaro that originally had a 305 in it. I'm wondering what would be the best type of headers to install without breaking the bank. Any links or info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Pacesetters is a good place to start. And they come ceramic coated and such. Decent HP increases from them as well.

i would advise against hedman headers. i bought a set of their shorty headers and y-pipe combo. terrible fitment. i had to weld extentions to the y-pipe for it to reach the collectors, and the primary tubes rub on the frame and nearby parts

my hedmans are in with no fitment issues at all. Shortys and y pipe. I have an 89

It's funny how some have issues with brand x while others don't

i have theses headers http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HED-68470/ and this y-pipe http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HED-17478/ the collectors were 2 inches too short on the y-pipe to clear the frame and oil pan. i had to cut them off and weld in some extentions. the passenger side primary tubes rub against the frame rail and steel heater lines and fender brace. the y-pipe also rubs the frame rail while also is pointed at a downward angle

yup

and on my 4th gen, some have bad incidents with Pacesetters and mine fit fine.

Who knows why there are differences, but so far

Hedmans on my 3rd gen are fine, pacesetters on the 4th are fine
