when i try and open my hatch it starts to go up but then the airlock or sumthing closes it automatically. how can i fix this?

 

Are your seals possibly sticking to the hatch? When the temperature is freezing here, the seals on the hatch of my 91 like to stick, and the hatch will go back down on it's own. After I flip the switch, I'll go to the back and "help" the hatch go up. After the initial opening, it works fine. And as soon as it warms up here, I'm going to spray a light coat of silicone on my seals.

 

If silicone on your seals dont work you might want to look at the hatch assist it may be malfunctioning and is pulling ur hatch back down thinking that you are closing the hatch
