exhaust pipe installation trouble

Default exhaust pipe installation trouble

hi camaro lovers.... I got an 84 camaro which is in excellent condition and I'm putting an exhaust on it but I was wondering if any1 knew any tips on how to get the last section of pipe over the axel easy without alot of bs because I don't have much time. I want to get this on the road quick ...... this car in a crown jewel... anyone got any ideas... this is my first camaro I've owned.

jack it up, put jack stands under the rear frame, and it should give you room. if not, undo the shocks and lower the rear

Or...cut the pipe at the straight section right in front of the rearend, and put it back together with one of these clamps.
That also makes it easier if you ever wanted to take the exhaust apart to, oh I dunno....access the gas tank and fuel pump.

I used that band clamp on my slip joint right before the rear axle lol, do what was first mentioned, jack the back end up until the tires are just touching the groumd, you should have no issues getting the pipe over the axle, my 3in pipe went in easy and other guys have gotten 4in with no problems at all
