having trouble finding info on the most cost effective way to reprogram my ecu..almost done building my 383 stroker.going to berunning a 52mm t.b. slightly bigger cam and better flowing heads.read earlier that a dyno is the way to go.how much per hr. tight budget.or other alternative.86 IROC

 

Your car can use custom chips or you can burn your own chips. To do you own burning you need an editing tool for you ECM, spareMEMCAL chips as you will probably ruin a few, a chip burner, a laptop and cables to connect the chip burner to the laptop, a lot of patience, and long learning curve. Or; you can go to shop that has a dyno and can tune your ECM properly.
